Since prior to 1965, we have hosted an annual harvest turkey dinner for the entire community and beyond. All food is home made/home cooked including turkey and all the trimmings along with home made pie. This provides dinner for somewhat over 200 persons. While this is primarily a fund raiser it also provides a fellowship opportunity for our members, including some inactive members, and some community service opportunites for the Boy Scouts. Repeatedly, we are told it is the best church dinner in central New York State and have a large number of return persons who tell us it is their annual fall highlight with some groups requesting reserved tables so they can all sit together.
The 2017 dinner was held Saturday, November 4th. Funds were used to augment the Vanderkamp scholarships
The 2016 dinner was held Staurday, November 5th.
In the spirit of tithing, 10% of the net proceeds from the 2015 dinner were donated to the Christmas Family Assistance Program
